This morning, Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth of Mauritius arrived in the capital city to participate in the Summit. Additionally, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria arrived in New Delhi on Tuesday to attend the Summit.
The 2023 G20 New Delhi summit is the upcoming meeting of G20, scheduled to take place in New Delhi, India. It will be the first G20 summit in India and South Asia. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair the summit. India's presidency began in December 2022, and the summit will focus on six agenda priorities, including green development, inclusive growth, and technological transformation. There is a proposal to include the African Union in the G20 with voting rights.
Prime Minister Modi expressed optimism about the G20's evolving agenda, focusing on human-centric development and addressing climate change, debt restructuring, and global cryptocurrency regulation.
