BJP, JDS join forces for 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Karnataka     Back

It has been reported by the media that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Janata Dal (Secular) (JDS) are forming an alliance for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Karnataka. The alliance was announced by former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, who emphasized the mutual understanding between the BJP and JDS.

According to media reports, Union Minister Amit Shah has agreed to allocate four Lok Sabha seats to the JDS as part of this alliance. The primary objective behind this collaboration is to strengthen the party's grassroots presence in Karnataka.

The final decision regarding the alliance will be made by HD Deve Gowda, the party supremo.
