Among the components of the S&P BSE BANKEX index, Bank of Baroda (down 2.79%), State Bank of India (down 2.55%),ICICI Bank Ltd (down 2.14%),IndusInd Bank Ltd (down 1.99%),AU Small Finance Bank Ltd (down 1.65%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Axis Bank Ltd (down 1.26%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd (down 1.18%), and HDFC Bank Ltd (down 0.59%). On the other hand, Bandhan Bank Ltd (up 0.37%), and Federal Bank Ltd (up 0.03%) turned up. At 13:45 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 598.15 or 0.9% at 66202.69. The Nifty 50 index was down 163.55 points or 0.82% at 19737.85. The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 239.92 points or 0.64% at 37170.58. The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 85.03 points or 0.76% at 11174.32. On BSE,1338 shares were trading in green, 2213 were trading in red and 185 were unchanged.
