Exide Industries and ExCom Energy Solutions GmbH (ExCom GmbH), Germany, have entered into a long-term strategic cooperation agreement for the industrial battery and energy storage systems across the European Economic Area (EEA). Products offered under this cooperation will be marketed and sold under the ExCom brand.
The agreement, signed on 15 September 2026, establishes a close commercial and technical collaboration between the two companies. The cooperation will cover the EEA market. ExCom GmbH will act as the central commercial and technical interface for customers in the region, leading customer development, distribution, technical project support, and after-sales coordination.
The partnership will initially focus on traction and motive-power battery solutions serving material-handling equipment, logistics operations, and other industrial mobility applications, as well as stationery battery systems for industrial, infrastructure and energy storage applications.

Thomas Cook (India) has expanded its airport foreign exchange network with the opening of forex counters at Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport, Bhogapuram, strengthening its presence in the Visakhapatnam market and the wider Andhra Pradesh region.
The new counters will offer travellers convenient access to a range of foreign exchange services and currencies, supporting the growing international travel requirements of customers from Visakhapatnam and the surrounding markets.
The expansion in Visakhapatnam is part of Thomas Cook India's broader strategy of strengthening its airport forex presence across key aviation gateways. In Delhi, the Company recently reopened its forex counters at Terminal 1 & 2 in June & July 2026. At Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru, the Company has opened multiple forex counters at both the Terminals earlier this year.

RIR Power Electronics has completed the erection and installation of state-of-the-art Silicon Carbide (SiC) Epitaxial Wafer Manufacturing Reactors at its SiC semiconductor facility in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
The development marks a significant milestone in the Company's plans to establish India's first vertically integrated SiC semiconductor production facility in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, strengthening its commitment to developing advanced semiconductor manufacturing capabilities in India.
The facility is expected to commence commercial production upon completion of the remaining statutory and regulatory formalities. The key equipment required for the SiC epitaxial wafer manufacturing process has been installed, while essential power connections, utilities and other supporting infrastructure have been commissioned and are in place. The completion of these critical infrastructure elements represents an important step towards operationalising the facility. The facility will deliver India's first SiC Epitaxial wafers for domestic and global markets.
The SiC Epitaxial Manufacturing Reactors and associated infrastructure form part of the Company's phased development of its Odisha semiconductor facility, supporting RIR Power Electronics' planned Rs 618 crore investment towards establishing a vertically integrated SiC semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem. The facility is being developed with the objective of manufacturing advanced SiC-based power semiconductor devices, including high-power MOSFETs, diodes and modules, catering to the growing requirements of strategic and high growth sectors.

Lords Mark Industries has successfully completed Phase I of its expansion plan at its Silvassa facility, nearly three months ahead of its originally committed December 2026 timeline. The newly expanded production line is scheduled to commence commercial operations from 11 October 2026.
Further, the surgical and orthopaedic product portfolio has expanded significantly from 36 to 54 SKUs, with the addition of 18 new products. The new SKUs are currently progressing through the US FDA approval process and are anticipated to receive clearance before December 2026.
